Samuel Babjak

Lead partner and founder of numerous companies within the SynCo Group, including Environ, BABs, and GrafenTech, where he connects European investors, Slovak partners, and research institutions. A member of the board of directors at NVAS, Infocar, COMAG, and others, with extensive experience in business development, project management, and bringing new technologies to market. He emphasizes the development of vertically integrated value chains. He is active in the fields of renewable energy, smart solutions, waste management, and construction.

Peter Hegeduš

As managing partner of SynCo Group’s energy division and country manager for Eurowind Energy, he oversees strategy, project development, and financial management for renewable energy projects in Central Europe. With more than 10 years of experience in the field of renewable energy, he specializes in wind, solar, and hydroelectric power, as well as energy efficiency. He is a member of the executive committee of the Slovak Hydrogen Association and an energy expert for the Slovak Photovoltaic Industry Association. Previously, he worked in the banking sector.

Ján Karaba

He is a leading authority in the field of energy legislation and the integration of renewable energy sources in Slovakia, playing a key role in the implementation of engineering projects within the SynCo Group. He has been the director of SAPI since 2019. His personal mission is to support the development of renewable energy sources and to systematically remove obstacles that hinder or block this development. Ján earned his first master’s degree from the University of Economics in Prague and his second from the Vienna University of Technology in the field of renewable energy. He also serves as the CEO of SolarEnergia.
